One is often enjoined to enjoy oneself,
But what has it really meant? It tends to come easy, straight off the shelf. The full meaning rarely is sent. Such well-wishing is talking of passing events, Like life on TV screens. Enjoy football, a film, spend dollars and cents. Take your thrills from others, it means. |
But the secret of living your life to the hilt
Is not only to like what you see. To be happy, to laugh, to love without guilt, You must enjoy yourself too, your "Me". The worth of each person is in-built, inside, Sometimes under a layer or two. But it really is there. Unwrap it with pride. Enjoy it: your Self. You're "You". |
