This specially designed movement is "fair" because each pair competes against each other pair exactly 4 times, and plays against each other pair exactly twice. Moreover, (except for pair 6), when each pair plays another for the second time, their orientation is different. Some form of IMP scoring is suggested. Match Point pairs over three tables is all tops and bottoms!

Similar "fair" movements could be designed for larger numbers of tables but the number of rounds increases dramatically. For 4 tables one needs 35 rounds to achieve the comparable effect!! One would need an all-day game over 70 boards, say.
